New events for custom messages

Would you like to communicate with your customers even more effectively and proactively? We’ve added several new custom message options that are perfect for this purpose.
You can now schedule custom messages linked to customer birthdays or name days. These messages can also include an automatically generated voucher code, which the customer can redeem as a gift.
In a similar motivational way — again optionally combined with a voucher code as a gift — you can use the event End of reserved appointment (ignored if a newer customer reservation exists). This event allows you to send a custom message to a customer when some time has passed since their last reservation and they haven’t made a new one yet. It’s ideal if you want to encourage repeat bookings or simply remind customers to book again (typically for regularly provided services such as beauty salons, vehicle inspection stations, or training courses).
Online chat on Messenger and WhatsApp

If you would like to allow your customers to contact you quickly via chat redirected to Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp, it is now very easy. In Settings → Booking Page → Content, a new option is available to set up special links that display icons in the footer of the booking page. After clicking them, the visitor is redirected to a direct chat with your Facebook Page or WhatsApp profile.
TRMNL Display Support

Do you want to display information about who’s next in the waiting area, which squash court is currently in use, or whether a meeting room is available – efficiently and in a modern way?
You can now connect your reservation system with the TRMNL display – an e-ink platform that clearly shows current reservations directly on site. The device does not require a permanent power connection, making it easy to place wherever this information is needed.

Customer labels Improvements

Did you know that you can assign labels to individual customers? These labels can then play a role in conditional pricing, access to resources, exports, and more.
A new feature now allows automatic label assignment based on the source used for the reservation. In the advanced settings of a Place, Service, or Employee, you can set a specific label that will be automatically assigned when a customer creates a reservation. This automation is especially useful for various marketing activities, allowing you to easily distinguish customers who have used a specific service offer and continue working with them accordingly.
Calendars for better overview

Do you have many resources and want to navigate appointments and reservations more easily? In the events or reservations calendar, you can create and use custom calendars that work as a predefined filter for Resources, Places, Services, or Employees. These calendars can then be switched very easily, giving you a quick way to change your view of events or reservations in the calendar.
These same calendars can also be used within the navigation guidepost on the reservation page (Settings – Reservation Page – Basic Settings – Guidepost Content), which makes it very simple to filter the offer for customers based on a comprehensive selection of resources.
File upload during registration

You probably already know that in the system you can activate a data storage feature for saving specific files linked to reservations or customers. A new option now makes it possible to obtain such files directly from customers during their registration process. The registration form can be extended with an additional field type that allows file uploads. You can find the option to add such a field to the registration form in Customers – More... – Custom Data Fields.
This can be useful, for example, in situations where you need to keep a customer’s photo, some type of confirmation, or other kinds of data required for providing services.
Automation for coupon codes

Would you like to offer your customers a discount code for their next booking after they’ve successfully used your services? Would you like to give newly registered customers a voucher for their first booking for free? Such marketing incentives are often a very effective tool for attracting loyal and returning clients.
Our system can now help you with this efficiently. As part of the setup for custom email messages (triggered by specific events related to reservations or registrations), you can include a uniquely generated coupon code in the email content, which the customer can then use. The setup is very simple and makes full use of the coupons you have already configured and prepared in the system. The coupon code is attached during the configuration of the specific custom message (Settings – Custom Messages).
As part of the automation, a new unique code for the given coupon is generated and included in the sent custom message. The customer then receives a coupon (their own unique code) that can be used exactly according to the defined parameters and options (value, validity, etc.).
Improved support for the GMAIL.COM sender address

Do you use your gmail.com address as the sender of emails from the system? You now have the option to connect the booking system (Settings - General Settings - Email) directly to your Gmail account.
This integration ensures that emails will be sent directly through your Gmail account, which provides proper authorization for these messages. As a result, the deliverability and authentication of system emails will be significantly improved, thanks to valid SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configurations.
