Reservation webpage

The reservation page is the main communication interface between your customers and the reservation system respectively your offer of services. The reservation page is located at your defined reenio address or on your own domain (according to the settings and prepaid package). The page itself can take different forms and takes into account your specific settings for displaying information to customers. Of course there is support for multiple languages or the possibility of integrating the reservation page into other websites.

Proper setting of events is a key point for the customer to orientate in your offer and then book correctly what he wants and when he wants. Similarly, it is also important to adjust the display and other parameters of the reservation page. Transparency is very important, even if your offer of events for booking is quite comprehensive and comprehensive. The reenio reservation system is very flexible in events of settings and the customer may not have an ideal overview of the offer. Therefore, we recommend that you always carefully consider what and how you will offer your customers for booking and how the reservation page will look, respectively what it will contain and what the booking process will look like. It must be the first thing to avoid putting your prospective client into an uncomfortable situation when they don't know what to do on the reservation page.

The final form of the reservation page and the clarity of the booking offer is always given by a combination of the reservation page settings, the configuration of individual dates and informational texts. The settings can be quite complex in some cases, so we recommend always trying the entire reservation process from the perspective of your customer!

Reservation page URL

The key parameter that completely determines the further use of your reservation page is its website address. You choose this right at registration of your subject and your reservation page is accessible to all customers. You can change this web address at any time in the administration (the original address will not be available, which should be kept in mind).

Settings - Reservation page - Basic settings - Address

By default, the web address of your reservation page consists of the name and domain of the reenio system (eg fitness.reenio.cz). There are several domains to choose from and you can choose one that suits you best (and is available in combination with your name). When registering, you can leave the choice of web address on the system and then edit it as needed.

In the case of a PREMIUM prepaid package, there is the option of running a reservation page on your own domain. In this case, you have to obtain the whole web address (eg reservation.mysite.com) and then in the administration you ask for the assignment of this address to your reservation page. For technical information on setting DNS parameters (contact your IT administrator). Once these parameters are set correctly, you will be able to pair your own web address with your reservation page and you can make reservations on your own web address.

All our domains (system web addresses) have SSL security enabled by default and the reservation page always works with HTTPS. Similarly, we automatically provide HTTPS when you run a reservation page on your own domain.

The reservation page is addressed directly to your customers. When registering or booking online and by themselves, they always use the address of your reservation page. If you want to work in system administration and your account, log in exclusively at www.reenio.cz (or admin.reenio.cz). Only customers log in to the reservation page and your administration account is not usable for logging in to the reservation page!

If you do not know the address of your reservation page, you can find it in the settings or you can simply click on the globe icon in the top right corner of the administration and in the next tab of your browser will open your reservation page .

Appearance and page layout

One of the first steps in setting up the system should be to look at the reservation page. Here you have two different display modes to choose from (full-width and two-column), and it depends on which one suits you better - we recommend trying both. Depending on the mode, additional settings are available, such as background image, info text location, etc.

Settings - Reservation page - Basic settings - Appearance

You can also choose from a color palette in the skin settings. Depending on the selected color, the appearance of the reservation page will be adapted and you can better align the reservation page with your company colors and website presentation.

Information for customers

In addition to the reservation offer itself, the reservation page also includes other information about the service provider, contact information, operational information, etc. This information displayed on your reservation page is under your full control through administration.

Settings - Reservation page - Content

This information is completely independent of other information about your entity in the system (billing information, operator / entity identification information, location type resources, etc.). This information is seen by your customers on the reservation page and used in e-mails and other communication channels. It is therefore necessary to fill in real and functional information with regard to your business. In addition to contact information, you can also upload a logo image or include a generic info text that will be displayed on the page.

Along with contact information, other formal business-related information is also important. These are Terms and Conditions, complaint information or privacy information.

Settings - Reservation page - Terms and conditions

Providing this information is important from a business perspective and is necessary, for example, when you use an online payment gateway. This information is thus common (edited as one) with information about the so-called point of sale within the fulfillment of requirements for the operation of the online payment gateway.

Language localization

Reservation system resp. you can run your reservation page in different languages, even several. This allows you to consider your target audience and provide them with information and services in the appropriate language. You can set the languages available on the reservation page in the administration. The customer can then switch the language itself.

Settings - General settings - Localization

The localization of the reservation page into the given language is provided directly by the system, however the textual information that you enter into the system (business conditions, description of resources, names of events, information on the home page, etc.) requires direct localization ie translation. The system will help you in this way, so that within the individual elements in the administration is displayed (always in the upper right corner) a switch between the active languages. The system will automatically edit only the information that requires translation into a given language, while noting that something is not translated.

If you operate the booking page in different languages and do not translate the individual content information accordingly, for example, a customer who switches the reservation page to English will see the English events names, service descriptions, etc. in the English environment .

Introductory guidepost and resource filter

On the reservation page it is possible to use a guidepost through which the user sets the filtering of the event offer according to specific sources. By default, all created sources are always displayed, which may not always be ideal.

Settings - Reservation page - Basic settings - Homepage

For example, if we have two tennis courts (Places), the list may not include two items "Tennis court 1" and "Tennis court 2", but we can create a new Tennis Source (Service) that includes both courts. The customer can then select an activity before the reservation menu for each court (Places) is displayed. This setting of visible sources for filtering can be easily set by simply dragging the order of available sources. It is also possible to define the division of the signpost into sections using a separator.

In the page settings, you can also change the display type of the start page from direct display of events to the home signpost. The customer will not immediately see the calendar with the relevant dates, but only a signpost, from which he will have to choose one of the offered resources. According to this selection, the next step displays a calendar with dates that only match the selected signpost entry (assigned to the Source). The resources shown in the guidepost correspond to the source settings for the filtering, see above.

Multilevel guidepost

The guidepost can play an important role in guiding customers to book specific appointments. Sometimes a simple guidepost with resources is not enough, but customers need to be navigated in multiple steps. This is exactly what a multilevel guidepost is for.

Within the guidepost it is possible to define navigation items not only directly based on Resources, Services, Locations or Employees, but it is also possible to create custom items (Folders) or direct links. It is also possible to structure individual elements "into each other ", thus creating a multi-level navigation structure. The structure itself is very easy to modify by dragging and dropping individual elements within the editing area of the guidepost. Where a given item is placed depends on where it is moved, which is always visually indicated (insert to same level, insert to lower level). Individual resources can also be reused, so it is very easy to create different navigation paths to the same range of terms, always depending on what the customer is looking for and how they are used to navigating the menu.

You can also divide the guidepost into sections using the separator to distinguish, for example, a certain regular service offer from special events. Another element can be a direct link, which can point either to anywhere on the internet (e.g. to your own website with information about the event) or to any specific date. In the term settings, a link can be obtained for e.g. one specific day, which is inserted as a custom link in the guidepost and the customer can be redirected directly to the specific event at one click.

The guidepost navigation offers a wide range of possibilities, but we always recommend you to think about the complexity of such a guidepost, also taking into account how customers are used to navigating your offer. A well-designed guidepost can make it much easier to select appointments and increase the overall efficiency of the online booking process in your business.

Display events as a list/calendar

The reservation page view setting lets you customize the way your dates appear. Depending on the type of event used, the display of each event varies. For dates that offer time bookings (typically not for seat map events), they can be displayed as a list or calendar (in this case, the system will combine different dates into one calendar, such as fitness lessons). The customer can change this display by himself (using the icon in the right corner of the given event), so that everything is clearly visualized according to their wishes. He can also adjust the number of days displayed.

Settings - Reservation page - Basic settings - Webpage with events (refers to "First show options for days and then the event" mode)

The setting in the system administration is therefore only a default setting, which the customer sees immediately when he arrives at the reservation page. If he or she customizes it on the reservation page (this setting is remembered by the customer in the browser), nothing prevents him from doing so. However, we recommend that you select the display that best fits your business and the schedule.

The reservation page primarily displays all dates (based on Source filtering) that start on the day that is set as the default day in the main calendar. In the settings, you can specify whether to display the event menu for one day, three days or the whole week at a time. When using the full week view, you can then specify whether the current day and the next 6 days are displayed or the classic week in which the selected day is displayed.

Another interesting parameter is the setting of the current day. This can be strictly today, tomorrow, or generally the closest day with an available date. Especially the last option can be very effective if you do not have regular dates every day and the customer does not need to see information that there is nothing to book when visiting the reservation page, but the system automatically moves it to the next day with an available date.

Try out different display settings and display parameters to best match your reservation page and what your customers expect. Of course, there is no problem making changes to the display while the system is in use.
